FACES presents HUG FEST

With a want for the depleting grimy live music club nights & Venues FACES was created by Edward Winter Director of Fashion and Events Business HUG Notting Hill, Tom Graham newly appointed Head of A&R & Publishing at Notting Hill Music & their chum Charles Wrigley.

They have enjoyed a monthly residency at The Globe Club Notting Hill for a year, but of late have started broadening their horizons with FACES take over at Soho’s Groucho Club and culminating this Summer with best of FACES festival HUG FEST in Notting Hill’s Maxilla Social club.

Ed & Tom are not new to the game, back in their twenties Tom with a long standing career in music and Edward in Fashion and Events used to run gigs and nights at Saint Moritz, Movida, Cuckoo, The Den to name a few, Showcasing at the time emerging artists likes Jessy J, Charlie XCX, LaRoux to name a few. While also running invite only Vulture Garden Party festival in East London which moved to Surrey for Two years, with the Highlight being the Festival's Finale in 2010 held on Queen Drummer Roger Taylor’s Estate.

12 years on and, noticing a shift in connectivity and changing landscape in London due to a post Covid world Edward created HUG ‘Humanities Unconditional Gift’ a fashion brand dedicated to celebrating and promoting connectivity and a want to bring people together. Naturally Events were the perfect marketing strategy. Queue Meeting with Tom, whom running his Management Label TANK had huge resources and connections to existing and emerging acts all itching to find venues and nights to showcase their brilliance.

FACES was an immediate success, The globe with it’s 100 person capacity and low ceilings was the perfect birth for the new fist pumping live music, table top dancing scene. They were quickly inundated with requests from artist to perform, and Venues requesting collaborations. To be seen what the future holds for FACES, but for now their biggest and brightest event this year is their Day long Festival on the 16th September in Notting Hill, a great practice for the already scouted Location in Royal Tunbridge Wells for FACES HUG Festival 2023. More acts to come to roster so watch this space. Follow @hugnottinghill & @thisisfaces
